Third Apple / Third Apple EdTech Solutions · Effective Date: 25 September 2026 · Last Updated: 25 September 2026

1. Introduction

Third Apple / Third Apple EdTech Solutions (“Third Apple”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and process personal information when you access or use our website, learning platform, courses, applications, simulations, digital learning resources, and related services, including courses.thirdapple.in (the “Platform”).

This Policy is intended for users in India and is drafted with reference to India’s applicable data-protection framework, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, to the extent applicable and in force from time to time.

We collect and process information only for legitimate purposes such as providing educational services, managing accounts, processing transactions, improving our Platform, and complying with applicable law.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, username, grade/class, and school or workspace affiliation provided at registration or by your school.

Learning data: activity progress, chapter completion, quiz responses and scores, time spent on activities, bookmarks, streaks, XP and achievement records — collected to operate the learning platform and report progress to you, your teachers, and your school.

Payment information: subscription status, plan, and payment dates. Card and payment credentials are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Polar) and are never stored on our servers.

Usage and device data: browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected through server logs and privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible Analytics, self-hosted; Google Analytics where enabled).

Communications: messages you send to us, including support requests and demonstration bookings.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age of consent under the DPDP Act without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. Where student accounts are created by a school, the school is responsible for obtaining such consents.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process personal information to:

  • provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its learning features;
  • create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
  • track and report learning progress to students, teachers, parents, and schools;
  • send transactional email — account verification, password resets, and service announcements — from support@thirdapple.in;
  • process subscriptions and payments through our payment providers;
  • provide customer support and respond to enquiries;
  • monitor usage patterns to improve content and performance;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use student data for advertising or profiling for non-educational purposes.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and first-party analytics to understand aggregate usage. A cookie-consent banner lets you manage non-essential cookies. Analytics are configured to be privacy-respecting: we use self-hosted Plausible Analytics, which does not use cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Schools and workspaces: teachers and administrators of your school or workspace can view progress and activity reports for their students;
  • Service providers: cloud hosting, email delivery (SMTP), payment processing (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar), file storage (AWS S3 / Cloudflare R2), and analytics vendors, bound by contract to process data only on our instructions;
  • Legal authorities: where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.

We do not transfer personal data outside India except where necessary to operate the Platform (for example, cloud infrastructure), and we take steps to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Platform, or as required for legal and accounting purposes. Learning progress data is retained while the school subscription remains active; after termination, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period on request of the school or user.

We apply technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and least-privilege access for staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act (as applicable), you may:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • withdraw consent for optional processing (for example, analytics or marketing communications);
  • nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of incapacity or death.

To exercise any right, contact us at the address in Section 10. For students, requests may also be made by a parent or lawful guardian, or through the school.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is used by school students, including children. Where a student is a child under the DPDP Act, we process their data only with the verifiable consent of the parent or lawful guardian, obtained by the school or directly by us, and only for the purpose of delivering educational services. We do not design the Platform for behavioural advertising to children, and we do not carry out tracking that targets children for advertising.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the Platform or by email to registered users.
